OUR STORY
About us
NOVA's mission is to empower higher education staff to be change agents within their organisations.
Evelien Renders and Elisabeth te Hennepe have founded NOVA to contribute to digital readiness and a sustainable future in higher education.
Working in the internationalisation of higher education at a research university themselves, they experience these challenges first-hand.

Evelien Renders
Over the past few years, Evelien Renders has given many workshops on digitalisation projects for international offices. She has helped them to lean into the very simple steps that can transform a struggling international office into one that seamlessly integrates their digital processes.
Four days a week, Evelien works as an Information Manager for the domain Students at Academic Affairs of Radboud University. She translates the needs and wishes of the business into actionable ICT-solutions. Mostly, she acts as a trusted advisor to the managing directors and heads of Education and Student Affairs of the faculties.
Evelien Renders is providing the course content for the Digitalisation Essentials Workshop. In the Virtual Events Workshop, she is facilitating the learning process and live sessions.

Elisabeth te Hennepe
Over the past few years, Elisabeth has developed and hosted digital events and online workshops for a broad scope of audiences. She knows how to use your events and projects strategically, with a special focus on active online engagement.
Four days a week, Elisabeth works as a Policy Advisor at Education Affairs of Radboud University. She is mapping out the possibilities for a more inclusive and sustainable approach to internationalisation activities within the educational curriculum.
Moreover, she is a trainer and facilitator in the field of international youth work, for which she explores and develops (virtual) training opportunities. For example, she facilitates online dialogue between youth from across Europe and the Southern Mediterranean on socio-political issues.
